Kitsap Pulmonary and Sleep Center

6,500 square foot sleep center

6,500 SF sleep center contains 8 large sleep rooms with individual bathroom facilities. Each sleep room has individual temperature control and a ceiling fan. State of the art technology monitors each patient throughout the night. There is a large show room for displaying and fitting sleep equipment. Connected to the sleep clinic is a six exam room pulmonology clinic which is used by three providers. The pulmonology clinic operates during the day and the sleep clinic at night.

Pend Oreille Surgery Center

10,000 SF free standing surgery center has three OR's, six pre-op and six pacu stations in addition to support and administration spaces. The primary design challenge was to develop a surgery center composed in the Northwest style of architecture that blended with the existing campus. Accordingly, native stone and heavy timber elements were used on the exterior and repeated inside to further enhance the connection to the rest of the campus.

Swofford & Halma Clinic

12,000 square foot clinic

12,000 SF primary care clinic is organized around eight very efficient working patterns. Each working pattern has three exam rooms, a physician office and a shared nurse station. Each of the two large procedure rooms and two nurse stations are designed to be shared by four working patterns. The exterior façade is broken into interesting shapes and proportions using stone bay windows and stucco panels. Natural light is directed into critical areas of the building via sky lights and strategically placed windows. There are private physician entries at both sides of the building.

56,000 square foot multi-specialty medical building

56,000 SF multi-specialty clinic for a large group in Kitsap County. This brick and glass exterior steel frame building has two primary entries on different levels. The building includes specialists, radiology, lab and a surgery center. All waiting rooms are on an outside wall to provide as much natural light as possible. Healing gardens are directly outside the windows for the waiting rooms.

Gig Harbor Plastic Surgery Center

3,500 square foot surgery center

3,500 SF plastic surgery center suite with MOHs lab, procedure room, three exams and administrative areas. The surgery suite (one 20 x 20 OR and related spaces) is separated from the clinic side by a fire wall. This plan allows the physician to alternate between clinic work and surgical work as required. The interior finishes are up scale and colorful.

25,000 square foot primary clinic and lab facilities

25,000 SF 14 provider multi-specialty clinic is located on one level across the street from the new hospital, has a drive-under canopy and ample parking for patients, family and staff. The interiors are warm and welcoming and hold original art by Northwest artists. The new space is divided into three separate units: Clinical Departmental Space, Laboratory and Diagnostic Services, and Administrative areas. Each clinical department is designed to give the provider the most efficient working pattern possible. This project's design excels in efficiency.

61,000 square foot total remodel and conversion of a clinic into an MOB

61,000 SF existing clinic building had to be re-designed to accommodate 40 providers in eight individual medical office suites. In addition, the existing 10,000 square foot lab and radiology facilities were located on different floors and had to be redesigned and relocated to the first floor. There were also four physicians groups in the facility that had to remain in operation during construction.

25,000 and 12,000 square foot freestanding primary care clinics with ancillaries

25,000 SF and 12,000 SF primary care facilities are similar in design. The Murphy building is designed for 16 physicians with ancillary facilities, and the Stewart building is designed for eight physicians with ancillary facilities. The unique design features of these buildings are large windows at the ends of waiting rooms (to get as much light as possible into the buildings), efficient provider working patterns with direct entry to outside parking for each provider, healing gardens off the waiting areas and translucent drive-under canopies that are designed to glow at night.

It will house local physician groups and be located next to an assisted living complex. Key design features are lots of natural light, open airy feeling and a green roof. All waiting rooms will be on the outside wall to provide as much natural light as possible.

8,000 SF remodel and expansion for a six provider ENT group. This very complex project was designed around an old pickle ball court which was converted into a light well. This concept added natural light and enhanced the patient flow and efficiency for the providers. Included in the new design is a hearing clinic, exams, procedure rooms, cosmetic suite and remodel of a surgery suite.

6,000 SF free standing clinic for three providers. The façade of this project reflects the Pacific Northwest with cedar shingles and peaked roof elements. The nurse station and interior corridors get lots of natural light from skylights and windows at the ends of corridors. There is a healing garden and trellis outside the full height windows of the waiting area.
